Victoria has a commitment to uncompromising craftsmanship. Sourcing the best gold, platinum and diamonds, and working with you to design exquisite pieces that will be passed onto generations to come. She partners with two brothers, one of whom is a world class ethical diamantaire* based in South Africa. The other brother is a jewellery designer based in Antwerp who has over 35 years of experience in jewellery making and gemmology. The brothers hail from a stellar lineage of diamantaires (both their father and grandfather were diamantaires and worked for the world’s leading diamond company, De Beers).
*A diamantaire (French origin) is a gem-quality diamond manufacturer or producer, master diamond cutter, and graduate gemologist specialized in diamonds. Such individuals demonstrate considerable expertise in different types of gemstones, particularly when it comes to increasing the value and quality of a rough or raw diamond. They are highly skilled craftsmen or artisans who are responsible for cutting, polishing and transforming a rough diamond into a finished gemstone ready for setting. Members of diamond dealing families who have established themselves in the upper echelons of the world diamond industry hierarchy are also often referred to as diamantaires as well. The profession is traditional in its relationships with each other, and most of the Diamantaires are Jewish or Indian.
